Before joined HINA Group, William worked for Beijing Bell Telecommunication as a project manager, responsible for nationwide telecom projects bidding, business negotiation, and implementing. William also worked for Datang Telecom (Stock Code: 600198) as a sales manager and an area manager successively. He has much study on Chinese telecom industry.

William earned a bachelor degree of EE from Wuhan University and a MBA degree from Tsinghua University. He also earned "Honorary MBA Alumni" from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in the MBA Exchange program.
