Prior to joining The Hina Group, Mr. Shi was the General Manager and co-founder of ActionCom Ltd. Co., a project service outsourcing provider for such telecom carriers and equipment manufacturers as China Mobile, China Unicom, China Netcom, China Telecom, Huawei, and Gangwan, and a partner of China Unicom on their SP businesses. During this time, switches, access network and broadband access network equipment, and SDH equipment built and tested by Actioncom enabled millions of people to connect to the Internet and telephone lines. Mr. Shi led Actioncom to become a local industry leader with more than 300 engineers and over RMB 20MM in yearly revenue.

Before founding Actioncom, Mr. Shi worked at Huawei Technologies, a world leading telecom equipment manufacturer. He first served as an engineer in the HONET technology support department, and was promoted 10 months later to a manager of the same department at Huawei's headquarters in Shenzhen, China, an honor reserved for only the top 5% Huawei's new hires.

Mr. Shi holds an MBA from Tsinghua University and a BEng in Automation from Tianjin University. He was the chairman of both the Tsinghua Management Consulting Association and the Tianjin University Automation Department Student Union. Mr. Shi was awarded scholarships from a range of prestigious MNCs, including P&G, Motorola, Honeywell, and a scholarship from the Guanghua Education Foundation in recognition of his academic excellence.
