Before joining The Hina Group, Mr. Bill Zhao had an extensive career in a number of key management positions in China's media sector. These positions included serving as Managing Director of Golden Net Co., a policy consultant for Overseas Chinese City Holdings, Vice President for CITIC 21CN Company Limited, President of Globe China Media, as well as Director and Executive Vice President of Beijing Penttai Mutual.

Mr. Zhao has also been a major writer for well-read publications, including the China Media Investment Report for 2001-2003, the China Television Market Report, and the China Newspaper and Magazine Publishing Market Report. For his research, Mr. Zhao was interviewed by major news networks including the BBC. Mr. Zhao has also served in a number of consulting positions for companies including Citic Media Group, CCID Consulting, Liaoning Daily Press and Jing Bao Beijing.

Mr. Zhao earned his LLM from The Chinese Academy of Social Science.
